Calling all J2me Mobile Games Developers - Do YOU have at least 2 years experience in Mobile Games Development? - are you talented and have a demo to show it? - would YOU like to work for an Award Winning Mobile Games Developer working on the next AAA titles? - do YOU have the following requirements:
- good academic record, preferably good degree
- good knowledge of games development process
- ability to work in a team to tight deadlines
- personal interest in games
Role-specific requirements would then be:
Game programmers:
Working as a key part of a small team on cutting-edge 3D mobile titles, using both software-renderer and hardware-accelerated platforms.
- very good C*C++ skills – AT LEAST 2 YEARS IN A GAMES CONTEXT
- excellent maths*computer science*science degree
- demonstrable excellence in programming
- preferably some game or graphics demo for interview
- experience of programming network*online features at an API-usage level an advantage
Lead*Senior programmers:
Leading a small team on a cutting-edge 3D mobile title, OR working in the development of the world`s leading mobile games technology, to support both internal game development and licensed SDK.
- lead or senior role on at least 1 game for full development cycle
- very good C*C++ skills – AT LEAST 4 YEARS IN A GAMES CONTEXT
- excellent maths*computer science*science degree
- excellent knowledge of entire games development process
- good knowledge of 3D methods
- experience of developing MAX*Maya tools an advantage
J2ME programmers:
This is the most ambitious mobile game ever made, and includes the most advanced online features ever used in a mobile game.
- very good Java*J2ME (MIDP 1.0 and MIDP 2.0) (OR C++ skills, with a desire to learn J2ME) – at least 3 years experience
- AT LEAST 2 YEARS IN THE GAME INDUSTRY
- demonstrable excellence in programming
- preferably some game or graphics demo for interview
- experience of programming network*online features at an API-usage level an advantage
